Having been to a mainstream high school, GED Institute was a welcoming change. Teachers were focused on the task at hand. In saying that, you would still need to apply yourself, but in this environment, it was easier. Also, being dyslexic I received the support needed. This resulted in me being able to complete my GED course in a couple of months.
